Merry I-Christmas

Our community hosts a great Santa every year. It's rather comforting that it's the same guy each year so, that way, I don't have to explain why Santa looks different. I was rather shocked when I listened to my children talk to Santa. I gave them no prompts. Katy asked for an MacBook Pro, an I-pad, an I-touch and an I-phone 4G. Lily asked for an I-pad, an I touch and her very own computer that she wouldn't have to share with anyone and they (her sisters) couldn't get the keys sticky with their dirty hands EVER. My darling Eliza asked for a "Pizza pie." At least one of my children has realistic expectations. I was a little flabbergasted. I don't want to be one of those "Why back in my day..." kind of folks but whatever happened to wishing for ice skates, ponies (I'm still pissed off about that one), bikes with banana seats and yo-yo's? I'm scared that my children will be disappointed because I'm not dreaming of an Apple product Christmas. Todd  and I purchased board games, science kits, camel backs and coupons for fun dates with parents. I hope and pray this makes them happy but if Momma isn't getting an Ipad then nobody is getting an Ipad.
